How do I build my first pc?

Alight /g/uys, I need serious help. I want to build my own pc but have no experience with it at all. I need to stay within my 1000$ price range and I'm not sure If I should just buy a pre-made. Where do I start?

I think with $1,000 you would be fine buying any premade out there, but I guess you could start with the Falcon Guide--head to /g/ for that kind of thing.
