Fedora Issues

Hey technology people! I am running fedora 15 32 bit on an hp DV5 2100t. I have an integrated graphics card, and no matter what drivers I use, Gnome will not work; therefore i can't have icons on my desktop. Also, when I close my computer, no matter the lid close setting, it always hibernates and can't wake up. One more small sounding but major problem: I cannot play minecraft. It comes up and I am able to login, but then it turns black.

Another problem is my mouse will not work in multiple programs, i have to unplug and replug it for it to work.

I was thinking of installing windows if there is no fix that can be done on fedora. I have system recovery discs, but no install disc. i have a product key though still.

Any advice is appriciated.

Linux is broken. Period. Use the recovery disks, and that will restore the system to "Factory" settings.

Don't change these.
