So /tech/ I I've got a question. I have a MTI IES800 (ReAct) 3D interactive display computer and I was wondering if I could turn it into a lightweight HTPC or torrent box? It does have the makings of a typical computer; HDMI, SPDIF, LAN and two 2.0 USB ports.

MTI says it runs BusyBox, I want to run Debian.

feasible?

You're probably better off sticking with BusyBox. See if you can get gcc or at least perl/python working on it to make it into a torrent box. Also, check if it has a network file sharing service like NFS, SMB, etc...
