Issues with AMD Video Drivers

Name: Anonymous 2011-10-30 7:37

I bought an Asus AMD Radeon HD 6850 about a year ago now and it worked perfectly for about the first 7 months with the occasional glitch etc. Now it's fucking up hardcore. It resets every few minutes when I used Firefox (Switched to chrome - marginally better) which I think may be due to hardware acceleration. Playing games makes it reset as well, alongside the fact that I get stray areas of pixels (I don't know how to describe it - areas that are the wrong colour or show the wrong thing). I've tried everything I can think of, I've installed new drivers, installed CCC, uninstalled drivers and CCC, hell, I've even taken out the graphics card, removed all the dust, run my computer without it (It works fine without it, running graphics off the CPU, but graphical quality isn't great). I need some help. Has anyone had/fixed this problem? Anyone got any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated, /tech/nicians.

Don't change these.
