I am posting this from the main /g/ because it is running very slowly and I need an answer.
I was losing a lot of space on this computer for no reason, so for curiosity's sake I downloaded Treesize and checked out my hard-drive...
As it turns out, there isn't a virus that's causing this, nor are vidya games (which I moved to an external hard-drive). It is Windows itself! And beyond the regular size Windows will take up, it has taken up an additional 70GB's! For a hard-drive this size, that's incredibly large. I am not sure of whether I can delete these temp files though, since I am not very knowledgeable in regards to Windows or programming, so I thought you guys might know what to do. Can I delete these monsters like normal files, or do I need to re-install Windows? And can I even go as far as pirating a new copy and using that instead?
