iPhone 3 Dead Pixels

So, I have an iPhone 3 that is not activated. I bought it used a while back and use apps to make calls and send texts. Mostly used as my iPod.

My problem is that I have lines of dead pixels across the bottom and even though doesn't effect the phone too much, it is still driving my bonkers. Anyone of you folks know how to deal with this?
