Monitor bounce.

Hey /g/.
Before I ask my question, I have to admit that I'm an idiot with computers. Please don't hate me for my inability to fix such a simple problem.

Now, on to my problem. I recently did a complete wipe of my computer to get rid of some particularly nasty things that were on there. Now, after I got it back working again, my screen is shaking vertically. It's like some kid having a seizure, but with my screen. However, this problem only happens on 1024 x 768 resolution. My monitor can only support 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600, and I hate the look of 800 x 600. I didn't have this problem before I reset my system, so I was hoping one of you fancy people could help me.

So, wut do?

Check the refresh rate maybe? Did you properly install the correct display drivers?
