Samsung SyncMaster 192N LCD - Problems

Hello. Recently I have come into possession of an old Samsung SyncMaster, and it has been giving me some problems. The most noticeable problem is a long, vertical, black bar about the size of my index finger on the right side of the monitor. While I don't have a cable to test in on my computer yet (will get one later), the "No Connection" dialogue does pass through this black bar, and gets enveloped by it.
