/tech/ - 4chan addon & Chromium

Guys I'm not impressed with the latest builds of firefox . it's unreasonably slow and crashes for no reason . So I switched to chromium and I'm pretty happy with it so far.
But I've heard that there's an addon for 4chan that can hide nasty stuff like spam etc.
is it possible to use that on chromium somehow ?

Also another thing is I tried to change the icon for chromium that shows up on taskbar & alt-tab menu but couldn't manage to do so. changed the ones in /usr/share/pixmaps & /usr/lib/chromium-browser/... & /usr/share/icons/hi-color but Didn't help.
Tried asking around but couldn't get an answer 4chan is the last hope!

On the homepage you can click a filter tab and select something that says either "SFW," or "don't show NSFW." That will pretty much clear out any spam if you want to just check out 4chan without running into anything odd. You can always go back and undo it as well. Easy as that.
