my brother was trying to upgrade the PSU and graphics card on his computer and updated the bios with a thing from the compaq website... he went to sleep while it was running and woke up 8 hours later and the bios update was still going... frozen or w/e...
so he turned it off and now after turning it back on it gets a checksum error at bootup, wont POST. he tried changing the pin positions for that jumper for 10 seconds and removing the MB battery to no avail. is there some fix he hasnt tried or should he just get a new bios chip or new MB?
when he boots it with a CD ROM start boot disk it says "trying to read cd rom... pass" but then says "error: No Enough Memory" it says 'no' not 'not'... what does this mean?
