Which video converter?

I've tried using all kinds of video converting programs, and none of them have been helpful for more than maybe a month at a time. I need to find one for Windows Vista, preferably one that can work with a lot of formats (especially FLV files) and do batch conversions. Any suggestions?

Quicktime Pro

Use a Video LAN Client (VLC). It's free and it's the best video player/converter/streamer that I've ever used. ^_^
