I'm testing out Lynx from my fresh install of Arch linux. What should I install next? I kind of like working from the command line, even though this is my first time. Are there any text based music players?

Install FreeBSD next.

Change the prompt colours to your preferences. If you eventually install Gnome, be sure to replace default Term w/
Terminator (also check out Stjerm for a great quake-style console).

sshm: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=61682

... AFAIK, VLC supports CLI, but I don't know if it requires a window manager.

BTW, lynx fails on HTTPS, install "links"

heh. I'm sure you'll notice: I use a debain-based distro... so don't copy *all* my .bashrc (just take the xterm's color prompts to your desires)!

ELinks is about a thousand times better than Lynx unless you're working over SSH.  Colors, CSS, and tabbed browsing all PWN.

Don't change these.
