Suggestion on use of 30gb iPod Video

Name: Anonymous 2009-04-05 4:07

Hey what's up.

I have a 30gb iPod Video loaded with lots of music (~20gb) that I've collected over the years that I like, but I really don't listen to it, and would rather have newer music on it; however, I don't want to put the music on my computer, so I'm somewhat at a standstill.

Should I wipe the iPod and start anew, or just add to what is already on there and deal with not listening to at least 70% of the music on my mp3 player?

I'd thought of buying a cheap 4gb / 8gb player and using it for new music, but that seems redundant.

Cheers.

External Hard drive?

After further review, I realized I have a bit of it on the external I have (250gb WD Passport, but it's starting to make clicking noises) so I'll format the iPod and start anew.

The music isn't anything rare, it just took time to get it.
