I did bios update/reinstall of windows, and my Realtek 5.1 system started to act up. The center channel plays through the subwoofer, and I narrowed it down the the actual onboard unit.
If I switch the cables around, lets say green and orange, the sub/center SOUNDS play though the fl/fr speakers, but the fl/fr SOUNDS play both through the subwoofer.
My speakers are logitec 5500, they have wires out to the 5 speakers but not the sub. For giggles i also hooked up the other speakers to the back of the sub in the center spot, and nothing comes out there. The center speaker works in other spots.
I tried the newest software, the original software too. Last thing is to dig around in the bios to see if there is anything in there.
