i recently bought a new laptop and am considering selling on my old one.

ive transferred all my files and programs and am set to format my hard-drives.

what else do i need to do to make it 'factory ready' so i can sell it?

i have my original XP boot disc if this helps.

Install Linux on it and use it as a guaranteed virus-free back up when your new one bricks.
