ive managed to lock myself out of the admin account (also the only account) on my laptop.
what happened is that i routinely change my password every month, simply for my own peace of mind more than anything else, and, for one reason or another, i ended up doing it at 4 in the morning.
you can probably see where this is going.
turns out that before i went to bed not long after, i forgot to either write it down in my little black book or commit it to memory.
so now i cant log on.
also, I'm using Vista home premium SP1, so the Safe Mode bypass doesnt work.
anyone have any ideas? i tried phoning Microsoft tech support but they laughed at me and hung up.
thanks in advance.

Use a Live Linux with ntpasswd to reset your password.
