Thread continued from the one on the Technology image board regarding an FTP server between us anons. The thread should be continued here to keep it away from the cancerous masses
One of the ideas of using Plan 9 is that we can COORDINATE all the different resources that people set up - there isnt a need for anything centralized. The plan 9 tools are all about creating indexes of 'whatever is online' at the moment, so as you bring up services you announce them to the grid and connected nodes know about them.
Even non-plan9 hosted stuff can be integrated into the framework, no problem. Of course, not everything is 'done' yet but the pieces exist if people learn to use them.
