Reformat problem

So yeah, my computer got a virus and I am seeking for some help.

I was downloading some psx emulators and suddenly a bunch of my programs stop functioning correctly and the computer shuts itself down. After that, whenever I try to reboot, it would give me the bsof where the log-in screen should come up. Every time.

I'm in Safe Mode at the moment, and I've tried System Restore but the thing won't even go to the next step after clicking Next (I picked a restore point, but nothing).

Any kind anon out there who might know how to mend this?

Oh, and my recovery disc doesn't for some reason.

If you're using a prebuilt, call up whoever built your computer and ask for help getting the recovery disc working. If you can't get it working, ask to get another one.
