There are way too many muds in technology fields (semiconductors, software, consumer electronics, IT).
They get into it because they can't produce creative products (writing novels, law, entertainment are unattainable for them). Tech is creative but there is a lot of grunt or otherwise mind-numbing work to do. To a mud, it's their best opportunity to make money, and get out of their mud countries. (another slightly technical field like medicine is also popular). I know that they will aim to pursue engineering and medicine if they get excellent grades, even if they are not interested - it's their ticket out of their mudville and into the West.
There are enough muds that it makes most companies unbearable. Is anyone else frustrated and disgusted with the situation? What happened to the White tech industry that existed before? I suppose it died with wave after wave of immigration.
Does the tech field future really belong to India and China? It's unbelievable but likely since they are largely the next wave of 'talent'. No Whites are getting into the technical fields, so it's all downhill from here.
Is high-tech work even a good choice? The pay is decent but plateaus quickly, overwork and stress is high, and the real benefits go to the suits (which I accept as part of capitalism).
