RAID Recovery

So my brother had a Lacie 500gb drive, little did he know it was actually configured in RAID 0. Now the controller has died, so I have the 2 drives connected separately via USB. I want to de-stripe them onto a new 500gb drive, which I figure would be a fairly simple task if they were not formatted in HFS. The software I have tried is not able to detect the stripe size or the order of the drive. I've played around and got nowhere.

Anyone know what the stripe size on one of these Lacie enclosures would be? Or even better some software that will detect the RAID connected separately then destripe it for me.
