secondary monitor acting up

I just set up my computer after a short car ride today, and my secondary monitor isnt working.  when I plug the monitor in, the computer recognizes it and enters dual screen mode.  However, the monitor itself doesnt display anything.  I can get it to turn on, but the running light doesnt light up and the monitor just displays a blank screen.  is this fixable by any means?

No it just means you need to go for a long car drive off a short pier

Probably a hardware issue. Try using it as your primary monitor and see if that works. If it doesn't, get a new one.
