When I try to start up my PC, 6he CPU does not beep once like usual, and my monitor doesn't get any signal. It happened all of a sudden overnight while I was downloading. Any ideas on what this could be?

The CPU does not beep.
The motherboard does, for diagnostics, but that's hardly the same thing.
Does your power supply do anything?

Yeah it does, it's best described by saying: "The PC acts like it's working but the monitor acts like nothing happened" (and neither the monitor nor the video-cable is faulty)

Check your video card. It may have come unseated.

I already checked for that. What worries me is that I don't hear the usual "HDD-sounds" and that the CPU does not beep... Maybe the mainboard overheated? Goddamn why do computers break...

CPUs don't beep.
And if your HDD doesn't spin up >>3 is the opposite of true. It could just be a dead drive.
