Yesterday I was playing morrowind on my HP dv9207us and it started artifacting (nlite temp was 39c) so I just shut it off and went to bed. This morning I turned it on and the desktop artifacted a little so I turned it off again. A half hour ago I turned it on and no bios text, but ubuntu still made its startup sound. I plugged in my second monitor and it was artifacted to the point of unreadibility. Its 1 month out of warranty, any ideas?
