Win Server 2003 email

Name: Anonymous 2008-06-18 17:36

Windows Server 2003 as an email server.

WTF is this shit. I don't want to create windows accounts for all email users.

The POP service allows one to create a password text file store in the users mail box for authenticaltion. Great.

The Virtual SMTP service does not allow the use of this file for authentication. So the only way to send mail is to leave it as an open relay, which I will not do.

Is there a setup that accomdates the requirement of no user accounts/active directory for each email user using the built in POP/SMTP services.

Or is there a good alternate solution that is not Exchange?

You are obviously a stupid piece of shit, but can you tell which list is bigger?

At this moment right now, having a properly configured Windows ISS server looks better than that unsecure LAMP shit on Linux. Of course, when all your knoweldge comes from blog posts and shit eating retards, you will find this fact hard to swallow. Yet, when you eat your own shit, its obviously easy to swallow.
