What is the speed/bandwidth of most miniPCIe connectors? Would it be possible to connect a decent graphics card to one if you could match the card to the connector by pinout?

MiniPCIe either connects via a 1xPCIe bus (250 megabit/second) or a USB2.0 bus (480 megabit/second).
Considering even an AGP videocard requires about 2 gigabit/second, I'd say no.
