Sup, I've bought a DVI to HDMI cable and can view my desktop on my TV (Sony KDF50E2000, 50" LCD rear projection.) Problems arise when I try to play video games, or watch movies on it though. The screen starts to flicker, as if the signal is going in and out. Oh, and my video card is an GForce 8400GS. Is there anything I can do to stop the flicker? A side note: the video card has an S-Video out, and when using the tv with this connection, it does not flicker.
