EDGE

Hi /comp/, how's it goin? I was wondering if it was at all possible to connect an iPhone to a public computer, such as a school pc, and utilize internet on the PC via EDGE network -- through the iPhone? Just a thought, because the net at my school is disabled in certain rooms when I actually need it, and if I could use net from my iPhone, but through the PC so I could save files and such, that would be an enormous help to me. Any thoughts/solutions?

now yu have 2 problems

iPhone does not have Phone As Modem capabilities. even if it did, without paying your exrorbitant AT&T 40 dollars a month for tethering, you'd probably end up with a 600 bill for data usage for half an hour's work
