power switch signal

So imma doing a school project that involves using the power switch of a standard ATX case in conjunction with powering on the case to do something else (in this case trigger an mp3 module to play a sound). Problem is, the MP3 unit I am using requires the switch signal to be pulled to ground. This is fine, but I don't think power switches on ATX cases provide the same signal when you push them to power on the case. Does anyone know exactly what kind of signal one of these ATX switches produces?

Get a multimeter and fucking measure it.
