DS error

My younger cousin removed my copy of Metroid Prime Pinball from my DS shortly after it was started up, and now whenever I turn on the game, it displays "The data could not be written. Turn the power off. Remove and reinsert DS Card." on both screens. Doing this doesn't help the problem at all. Is there any hope?
