USB GPS

So. Chanfags. I have received for myself a laptop computing device. That's fine, all those bases are covered. I'm looking to purchase a global positioning satellite receiver inside or on top of my automobile, and then interface it with my mobile computing solution so that I might enhance my route-finding and directional-instructing abilities. Could someone kindly recommend a peripheral compatible with my needs, preferably of the universal serial bus variety?

make sure you get one with an sirf star iii chip.  it's sensitive enough not to lose signal in the forest, downtown, etc...

after that, aren't they all pretty much the same?

Don't change these.
