Need new card?

So, I play Wow, and I need /tech/'s help with my graphics card. Here's what i posed on the wow tech support forum and they won't reply, so I'm asking y doods. Halp!

After some time during play, my display flips out. Sometimes it does it before I can even type in my password, and sometimes I'm able to actually complete a few quests, but it always happens. I'm not really sure how to describe it. I get odd pixel distortions in random places (often, there's the color pink), and the game freezes. If I wait a few seconds, sometimes I can move the mouse, but that's the only thing that will move, and the displayed is still effed up. The only way I can get my computer to continue doing anything is to hit the reset button on the front of the case.

I've changed my resolution, I've changed all of my graphic settings to minimum, I've run the WoW checker, I've reinstalled my video card driver, I can't find a solution.

System specs are:
Windows: Windows XP5.1 (Build 2600) Service Pack 2
Memory (RAM): 1023 MB
CPU: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+
CPU Speed: 2409.6 MHz
Sound card: C-Media CM6501 Like Sound Devic
Display Adapters: NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS | NetMeeting driver | RDPDD Chained DD

 I called Cyberpower, Inc.(the guys who built my machine) and they said that my videocard was bad. I have to send it back to them.

I'm sceptical though, and i don't want to wait that long for a new video card. The tech guy asked if i had updated the driver, and I said yes. then he said "okay, it's bad. Send it to us and we'll replace it."

I just want to ask anyone who might know, is this honestly my only option?
