WTF is up wit my college computer classes?

I'm in my 3rd year now and rarely have any of my computer related major classes have involved me actually fucking USING a computer. I'm serious, most of this is me having to listen to giant powerpoint hell... boring the shit out of me to the point where I'm desperate enough to be on 4chan on my laptop over wireless durring class.

The only aspect of computer science I'm aware of (besides theoretical/mathematical ones) that doesn't really incorporate actual use of a computer is like...interface design.  If you want to use computers, switch to /real/ CS...you'll use them plenty here.
