Need yahoo messenger help

well, yahoo messenger is being a gigantic faggot. For some, refuckintarded reason, everytime i try to connect, it tells me it can't and to try again later. Now I tried changing my connection prefrences, but it didnt' help. Then i tried turning off my firewall(seeing as  i already had it on the exceptions list), and that STILL didn't work. I can browse the interwebs just fine, i just can't use messenger. Help?

oh yeh, and btw, i also tried reinstalling it. I can't do that either. when i try to, i get an error message that says it couldn't access all the files and for me to just get the direct download, wich is uselsess, cause as soon as i get it, it won't even connect to start with.
