PHP files?

I was going through some old files when I stumbled across some PHP files. I know that it holds images, I remember puting them together on a windows program, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the files to open. I've tried downloading stuff off of www.php.net, but I don't know how to work that, or even if its the right stuff to be looking at.

Anyone have any ideas?

You need a web server with PHP installed.  Try a free host with PHP available, or you could install apache with PHP locally (I don't recommend it)... Google Free PHP hosts, then upload the file to that.

Op here. You'll have to excuse me. Most of that went over my head. I'm not all that tech savy.

If you don't know what .php files are, you most certainly do not need them.

Make a compressed backup of those and remove them if you want.

Open them in Notepad. If they contain gibberish, they have the wrong extension. Otherwise, figure out what they do.

If the extension is wrong rename it to .jpg or .png.
