Looking for a new PC

Name: Anonymous 2007-09-23 3:11 ID:s3znhtEw

I'm a typical no-life gamer (WoW, Bioshock, Unreal 2007, Half-Life 2, Counter-Strike, etc.). I also use computers I have for photos, videos, music, pretty much anything and everything. So my question is, does this sound good to all you computer junkies? It'll cost me about $3559 and my budget is $1000-$4000. If anyon e knows of any better PCs in that range please let me know.

680i chipset FTWWWWW
Get a proper soundcard though, BioShock bleeds all over RealTek integrated et al.

Also I see that neons and custom racing stripes have yet to be included in your budget - this is a serious oversight and should be rectified immediately.

$3559
(specs)
I built something similar for just about $1k, aside from the dual 8800GTXs, but I can still play games like Oblivion at 1680x1050 at 50+ FPS so I don't really need anything better. You're getting ripped off. Build your PC yourself and save a lot of money.

Mind telling me your specs then so I can look into it?

I just ordered the rig here

http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/09/17/sbm_low_cost_system/

but with the 8800 GTS with 640 MB. It'll play TF2 and SC2, and what else is there to really play on your PC?

Oh forgot that the power supply should also be moar bigger, as they figured out when they went to OC it.

i built a simular rig using the same p5n32-e sli plus motherboard i core 2 duo 2.6ghz 2 gig ram and dual 8800gts 320mb do want to know what power supply you are going to be using as the standard 420w wont work with your setup of 2 video cards

Don't change these.
