MS Works is a pain in my ass

    so, yeah... i'm in need of some help in the MS Works dept. i would like to make an empty database. i have headers for each column, and the rest is empty, as i'd like the lines to fill in my own info. but, alas, it will not let me print an empty database.
    what to do??  any ideas?  should i try a spreadsheet??

Firstly, MS Works is completely gay.  As long as we understand that, and you accept it, we can continue.

Secondly, can you put non-printing characters in at least one field of the first entry?  Kind of like:
