Ok... I just bought a laptop with vista premium installed. I Know there are a lot of people on here that hate vista but I'm just wondering if I really should just go ahead and dump it for another OS. I mean should I really just stick with vista or not? Please just give me really good reasons to keep it or not.
No doubt your hard disk is fairly huge, so just shrink the partition with some utility and put on a real OS like Linux, and dual boot for the best of both worlds (of which, the best of Vista is slim, but does exist, so why not keep it).

Dump it for a better OS. You can expect Vista to be AIDS and FAIL until a couple of service packs down the road, and even then it's just pretty shiny to make stupid people want it. Find a linux distro that you would like, or just install XP.
