the us government just voted on how to use the 700mhz spectrum, and the result wasn't cool. while carriers will be mandated to allow any device to connect to the network, the idea of wholesaling the space to encourage healthy competition was shot down. thoughts?

I myself am glad, the other public ranges are getting crowded which causes interference and lose of data. The public 900Mhz and 2.4 Ghz range is definitely too crowded and with the 802.11n specification around the corner(which uses all channels instead of a single one like the previous ones) it's likely to get pretty more noisy.
