I picked up a cheap GQ6310 from Fry's today. However It has startup problems. Various things happen, and I'm wondering if they're all caused by one thing, or multiple things.
First, I get a beep code. 3 beeps. Then it says that the CMOS is running in safe mode.
If that doesn't happen, then I get a CMOS Checksum Error, and it restores the BIOS defaults.(which I don't want)
If that doesn't happen, it will get past the mem check thing, but then restarts as soon as windows starts to load.
Anyone with any ideas, or should I just swap the machine now?
