I agree. I've heard the same on some other forums. Def go with Nvidia. ATI is crap

Ignore the elitist Nvidia fags. They couldn't recognize a good video card if it bit them in the ass. Buy the ATI; it's been proven superior in countless benchmarks.

It's not that ATI is crap, just that nvidia has a pricing scheme that is more palatable

ATI drivers are less than acceptable

My only comment is that as a whole the ATI drivers do seem to be less stable especially on any OS other than Windows.  In Windows you probably will not notice much difference as a result of the driver but in any other OS ATI will most probably cause you at least one massive headache.

nothing wrong with ATI drivers in os x.

even though that doesn't count.

So if you buy nvidia you're a dumbass, and if you buy ATI you're a dumbass.

Well, you know what that means, you have to buy SiS.

Agreed with the remarks about Linux.

If you run Linux and get an ATI, you better be pleased with generic VGA support and no hardware acceleration.

ATI makes Linux drivers, but they don't work worth a shit.

Nvidia driver support for Linux is much more acceptable.

Even on Windows, if you go with ATI, you get a nice enormous .NET framework application to install, which sucks.
