Singularity is the gayest thing ever

Singularity is the gayest thing I've ever heard of.  Like computers will one day be as smart as people.  Fuck that, computers are retarded, slow and freeze up and crash if you give them to much to do.  Even if chips miraculously become 1000s of times faster, they'll still need 1000s of times more energy.  Also, it's not as if computer programs are being written 1000x more efficent.

In short, singularity is something for faggos to talk about because they just can't accept the world as it is in reality.

It's more of a software problem than a hardware one. And if you belive computer hardware is insufficient for it there's nothing preventing a biological conciousness to be the cause of it. We're a bit behind in artificial brain constructions thought.

Of course, the singularity have a rather stupid side, the "wuts happening lulz?" side. I doubt we'll ever loose track of the improvemnts and innovations even if they speed up 100fold.
