iPod Games Manual Install

I recently re-downloaded every iPod game, and I don't use iTunes. I know there was a way you could manually install the games by creating a new folder in the iPod, changing some registry values, or something similar to that. This wasn't with iPod Linux or anything like that. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

best game i played with an ipod was sending it back for repairs and getting it back with the spanish language set...

you can reset the language through itunes.
