A place to trade pirated movies

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-18 21:44

I'm getting sick of bit torrent since nobody seems to like seeding, and p2p networks are shit. What I'm wondering is where is a good place to mutually trade movies with other people? I'm sure there's a good IRC channel out there somewhere dedicated to this very purpose. I've got about eighty movies available for trading.

Anywhere else you go looking for movies will have slower speeds and less sources. Stick with bit torrent, just find better trackers.

OP here. I actually have a share ratio of 2 on demonoid but I still get shitty transfer rates. It seems like half of the time the torrents don't have any decent seeders.

I'm actually considering downloading some piece of talker software (for you nubs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talker) and turning it into a program where people can join with an anonymous ID, make a list of the movies/warez they have and search for what other people have. If they find something they like they can then negociate a trade with that person (of course it's up to the individual how they trade the files). After the trade you could either give or take away from the rep of that individual.

I thought about making this a website but I'd like to keep all the kiddies who haven't even heard of telnet away from this, and I'd also like each user to sign a disclaimer waiving me of all responsibility of what's on the talker and that's difficult to enforce in a website.

I don't see many "social" trading environments online anymore like you usto see in the BBS days, not even on IRC.

Usenet has the solution.

Partyvan has the solution.

Eh, torrents seem to work fine for me? I also seed properly. Usenet costs money. If there's one thing below piracy, it is commercial piracy.

As I said I have a share ratio of two on demonoid so don't nag me about not seeding properly. Bittorrent may work fine for you but I suspect rogers has capped my bit torrent traffic drastically.

It's common for an isp to cap traffic on certain ports that are commonly used for p2p trading. Just switch the port used by your client.

Some ISPs out there will give you access to their news servers already. I know Comcast does this. Just look up the information on your ISP's website.

Op here.

Rogers disconintued the use of their usenet service back on December 15, 2005 because they're made of aids and fail.

Undernet IRC has a lot of channels for trading movies but to get decent movies you have to run your own fserve. I still think my social file trading idea is a good one, I think I'm going to run with it and continue putting up with bittorrent for the time being.

In this case you might as well pay the fucking 15 dollars a month. I see nooblits ask questions like that all the time on irc, what do they usually get told? "get a fucking feed and stfu"

Then I suggest you fucking kill yourself. Where the fuck do you store all of this? Do you have a few terabytes in HDD and then spend all your time burning shit off?

Seriously, fucking kill yourself because you're wasting your life pirating everything under the sun.
