Using Belkin router as an access point

Name: Anonymous 2007-02-16 14:22

I was wondering what I was doing wrong here.

I have a wireless Belkin router that lets me set it up as an access point if my modem also functions as a router. It does. The thing is, when I try to set it up using the given WAN IP and setting the last number as .250, it never works.
Just wondering if anyone would know anything. It's really bugging me because I can't open any ports.

Just the other day I was trying to use a wireless Belkin router as an access point.  At first everything seemed to go perfectly--I was chilling out, maxing, relaxing, downloading, all cool.

Then a couple of hackers who were up to no good started in wardriving in my neighborhood.  I got one little port probe and my mom got scared, and she said "you're moving in with you auntie and uncle in Bel-Air."

Don't change these.
