Network errors with eMule

I used to run eMule a lot a year ago, but stopped using it because I wasn't really using it. 

Now I'm using it again, but I can't leave it alone or else it fucks up my wireless connection and I have to restart the computer.  Repairing the connection causes the dialog box to hang, so the connection completely fails.

I've tried two different computers, wireless zero configuration on andd off and different wireless adapters, so I've narrowed it down to the new Trend Micro Pc-Cillin 2007 having some sort of bad reaction to it.  Even on Minimal protection the error still happens.

So, anyone have eMule and Pc-Cillin 2007 experiencing the same thing?

Not using Pc-Cillin, but eMule and Netlimiter had the same effect for me.
