This is the TV I currently have. I like it overall; I really only use it for playing Wii and possibly in the future the 360 and PS3, but for now that's it... I don't watch many movies or TV shows or anything.
I'm on my second unit; the first one I got had some discoloration in the corner - and this one is not only having the same problem but I can hear that loud, high pitched whine sound after about 15 minutes or so. I'm going to be exchanging this for something else, but I was hoping to find some recommendations as to what you guys use and what your experience has beem, or what you might suggest. This TV was $700, and I really can't spend much more than that. Also I would like widescreen, 1080p isn't too important to me and I think I would like CRT rather than LCD just because the clarity and sharpness of the colors seems to be better. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
