Why is my FireFox not working??

I'm writing this from IE right now because Firefox suddenly stopped working for me.

It claims to have arrived at the page fine but I don't see anything. The only things I did recently are update Adobe Reader and Avast!.

Any help would be appreciated.

You really have to track down where the problem is coming from yourself. If only firefox is teh brokenz, it could be either an extension problem or your profile crapping out on you.

1) clear private data (cache, cookies, everything) and restart firefox. if it's still broken,
2) disable all extensions. restart. if it works, track down the guilty one and uninstall it. if not,
3) create new profile. see google for help. if still fuxorz,
4) full firefox uninstall and reinstall. if latest version fucks up, try older versions. if still fux,
5) www.opera.com, enjoy your aids

bookmarks are stored in 'bookmarks.html'. do a search for it. save that, then make a new profile. then while firefox is off, replace the defalult file, then restart. instant backup.

i would then advise using Google Browser Sync to keep everything backed up in ur google storage space.

firefox will overwrite that file upon restart.  Save the original bookmarks.html then import it from the bookmarks menu in FF.

never overwritten for me. I have one suggestion, though. Delete the 'bookmarks.html.bac' you could copy-paste both files from old to new.

I have never tried to import, though. It would be the preferred way, if it works.

Shit! Organize Bookmarks, then file, then Import, then From File.
Damn.
