Rockbox

I recently installed rockbox on my video ipod. After I got used to navigating the menus, I decided it kicks total ass. My only concern is that a lot of people have complained about their ipods freezing up after a while, but mine has yet to freeze on me. What sort of experiences have you all had with it?

nicer than the apple firmware if you're just listening to music, but it can't play videos and it drains the battery a lot faster than the apple firmware.

Anyways, I fucking loved it before my iPod's hard disk took one too many drops and died.  Never had mine freeze, and my battery life was about the same, actually.

that's funny, according to the rockbox website it's usually about half what it is with the apple firmware.
