What are some of the best MP3 players you can get, on the cheap end? I'm looking for 2-5 GBs, and as cheap as possible. Just a few selections. Thanks for the advice. It's a gift, for what it's worth.

Cowon iaudio works well, lots of functionality, compatible with lots of audio compression formats (aac, mp3, ogg, wav, various others). I've seen 1, 2, 4 gb models.

I suggest i2go eGo, in which you can fit some kind of card for extra storage.
It's very cheap to buy apparently, some guy got it for 15$. So you can get one and just buy a high-capacity storage card for it. You know what I'm saying?

buy a cheap SD card reader mp3 for $5 and then several separate gig SD cards for it.

get freebsd, netbsd, openbsd, dragonflybsd, solaris, or loonix.
if you don't like unix... i guess you have to pay for your slow buggy alpha-quality os, while the rest of us are using fast slightly less buggy beta-quality ones.

Download a SP2 cd and a crack, dumbass. They make stand-alone SP2 cds you know. You don't need Genuine to install it.

There's a program floating around called mublinder 2. Check it out, it blinds the updater into thinking you have genuine. Just go to that updating site with IE and download SP2.
