Itunes help

Ok,so recently I had to do a system restore on my computer while saving my things to an external drive. When I did this, I lost all the music on my Itunes, as it didn't save to the external drive. Is there any way to get my music from my Ipod mini and into the new itunes? I'm pretty techno illitirate, so details will be apprecieated. I'm on Windows XP With media center. Is there any way for me to do this?

Plug in your iPod, change your folder options to allow you to view those 'hidden files and folders,' browse to ipod_control and drag the Music folder somewhere on your desktop, or your music folder. Then drag it into iTunes, which will rename things.
